Family Constellations
At conception, our deepest instinct is to connect with our parents, which in turn connects us to the flow of life. This instinctive movement allows us to feel safe, seen, loved, and nourished so we can develop in a secure environment.
When that movement is interrupted, whether through trauma, illness, loss, addiction, separation, or other circumstances, a child adapts in order to survive. In Family Constellations, these adaptations are understood as creating unconscious bonds with the unresolved or disordered parts of the family system.
As adults, these unconscious entanglements may be expressed through repeated relationship patterns, addictions, parentification, chronic stress, illness, financial struggles, or a persistent sense of shame, grief, pain, anxiety or dysregulation.
A Family Constellation seeks to uncover these hidden dynamics so that what has been carried unconsciously can be acknowledged, honored, and placed where it belongs. As the system comes into greater order, people often experience more freedom to live with authenticity, connection, and purpose.
